I don't think he needs a huge distribution block like that....I don't think he plans on running that much power. I'm telling ya man RF kit w/ power and ground distribution blocks, fuses, RCA's, speaker wire, connectors, power and ground wire, remote wire, totally worth it and good quality. Not a bank buster.
well, yea i'm only planning to power my speakers that eventually will be replaced with component setup. do i really need that much of power that i need distribution block?

so if im getting a component speakers in the future, do i need one of these to power the crossovers later on?

this distribution block thing can also be used as ground?
it can also be used as ground. depends if you buy separate distribution for power or ground or like mines a combo made together as one. well component speakers are a set of tweeters, mids, and crossovers. you will need power to make any electronic work, but crossover is just a network to control your settings, which you want to set the settings you like and component speakers are nice but expensive...if you really want a great set.for the money i can sell you mines. i got Boston rally 6.5 component set RC620. they are one top of the line speakers...trust me...you won't be disappointed.

I'm sorry you said amps so i thought you were running more than one for like speakers and subs. If youve just got one amp then you do not need a distribution block. And i am not a fan of drilling into my car either i just suggested it incase. Like stated above, just make sure you have a really good ground, bare metal is key!
And you can get a rockford fosgate kit at bestbuy i think you asked where to get it. 8g power should be ok for you if its just to speakers. You would only go larger if
A. you were running like a 4g to a distribution block and then branch off with 8g to your amps
B. you had some bad ass subs and needed alot of power.

Larger gauge=more power=more power=better quality (to an extent)

well, i was planning to get boston sx60 or alpine type s component since they're more budget friendly. rc620 sure is a nice speakers, my dad has it on his car and it sounds just awesome, it's expensive as hell too. i'll pm you anyway.

lol, yea sorry for the grammar mistake. is it also okay to cover this amp with capets or something like that? i want to hide my amps really well, so it won't get stolen.

so, i'm ordering the wires tonight. how long should i get for the following:

1. 4 gauge power cable including ground
2. remote wire
3. speaker cables
4. the 4 channel RCA

I'm planning to mount my amp on the trunk, location is still unknown, but basically on the trunk. thanks

dont cover it will speaker carpet!!! it has to have decent ventilation or it will fry from overheating! and definitely dont mount it facing upsidedown or something like that, those vents are facing a certain direction so that heat will escape.
