Sorry didn't save the dyno sheets I have seen over the years. The turbo GReddy uses isn't a terrible turbo and with the right combo of parts you can net some good power from it. I would say 300+whp from 14psi up.

I will be getting to the dyno within the next month or so to do some tuning and plans are to bump it up to 15psi, so I will post results when I get them.

hes got a b-series, it can handle 270whp reliably on stock internals as long as the tune is good

Well no s**t! I'll be grtting a 6th gen coupe soon and I already have a b16 bottom in my garage.....





but I wouldn't need that much hp. I'd be good with around 200hp or just a lil over.

dude. 10psi is a good amount for a completly stock motor. yea i konw ive seen cars run for years on certain set ups but still 10lbs is up there. And y dont you do the work your self, you seem like you know engouh and your machanic is cool, just ask him to teach you stuff. Y take your car to a mechanic to let him decide what you should do, decide yourself. You will save money if you keep the boost. you already have everything.

I don't let him decide what to do next with my car, he's just giving me some advices of what he thinks is best, based on his experience and what some of our friends have gone thru by boosting their civics. I don't have the time to do it myself, right now he's rebuilding the engine with some oem parts and by tmrw I should get my car back. Then, I will decide what to do next.
I guess I'm 50/50 if it's worth putting more money into my em1 or get some money of the turbo and do something better.

nitrous= bad stay away from it. its illegal to have a nitrous bottle hooked up while driving on public roads but it not illegal to be booted?

10psi with a exhaust will net around 220-240 tops.

I made 193whp with the cheap ass GReddy downpipe/elbow, catalytic converter and stock exhaust and all on a crappy basemap with boost set at 5psi (i do not suggest this, I personally just don't care). The A/F was up and down between 13.0 and 11 from 4k to redline and timing was at 17.50 degree. You think with a solid A/F and lets say 4 degree advance (I say 4 because that's where I am running now and I know it will go more just not comfortable going higher without the dyno) more on the timing I wouldn't be able to net close to 220whp? Personally I think it would have fell right in the 215 area, which is not bad considering the GReddy downpipe and completely stock exhaust.
