by getting into vtec i'm guessing your saying passing 5500ish rpm in normal day driving?getting into vtec will burn oil, i know mine does
if i did blow my head gasket would i see a lot of blue smoke coming out? or what would be an easy way to find out without taken it into a shop.If you have oil in your fluid resivior, you probably blew the head gasket.
In any day driving. Either way vtec tends to use engine oil quicker but doesnt throw it into your resivoir. Change that head gasket asap.by getting into vtec i'm guessing your saying passing 5500ish rpm in normal day driving?
nope 4800 rpm...thanks to Phearable.netby getting into vtec i'm guessing your saying passing 5500ish rpm in normal day driving?
its not engine oil thats in my reservoir. but lubricant like the stuff found inside a drive axel that is covered with rubber and allows the drive axel turn and spin at the same time. (hope that makes more sense to you then me)In any day driving. Either way vtec tends to use engine oil quicker but doesnt throw it into your resivoir. Change that head gasket asap.

redline and VTEC engage are two different things. check your oil cap. if it looks milky, you might have a blown head gasket. and your refering to grease when you talk about the axel lubricant. which btw, how the hell would axel grease be in your reservoir tank?thats weird ..on my d16y8 stock motor i redline around 7..
Honestly could be a couple different things..i would check head
gasket and do a compression test first
