i may be able to convince some of my buddies to go down there. it would probably have to be friday though. ohh, and the season opener for autoX is that sunday (the 20th) if you you guys want to come up to WIR in kakauna, a bunch of my friends and i will be there, should be a really good time.
Time to pay someone else to work on your car and ad a sticker!
Cant wait to see what you drop in there man. I'm with dank, i wanna see some drift vids this summer

Sorry i go to school full time AND live on campus, I needed my car ready to go before the track season started up. I would have loved to do my own swap, but it just wasnt in the cards this time.

You're right instead of getting together with another local guy to do the install I should have just paid a shop to do it all and then put a sticker on my car. And then I could go around on teh internetz and act like I'm a badass because I can write a check.coming from the guy that couldnt even install coilovers by himself

you say that like i'm not capable of doing my own work. this is the only work i have not been able to do on my own. my apologies that the university i attend would flip their s**t if i tried to do an engine swap in their parking lot. and for the record, i didnt pay any extra for labor. i paid for an engine and parts, the guys down at kasu racing are doing the work for me becuase they are friends of mine and they understand the situation i am in. I dropped $110 on non-refundable entry fees for a track day and i'll be damned if i'm going to miss it just because i put a hole in my oil pan...
so thank you for your attempt at ruining my day, you failed...once again
oh, and dont even think for a second that if i wasnt almost 4 hours away, i would be there every day to help get that s**t done, but unfortunately i have obligations that dont allow me to do so.
I can totally agree with both of you on that. College takes up a lot of time and money. Its cool that you know the guys well enough that they were willing to not charge for labor. You also get the piece of mind knowing that people you trust are doing the swap.
