My EG4 Lsi sohc build Future Turbo

okay im starting this new thread coz no body seemed to want to read my old one. and also im including the earliest pics of the car iv got.
so here it goes

pretty much when i just bought it

The i got my type R seats and my alloys from the scrappy

at this point a had fixed some of the rust, by fixed i mean filled in, repainted the door moulds gloss black, painted the side skirts silver for a cleaner look, and had some crappy plastic mirrors on for a while.

some stickers

then got some PI 60mm springs from some guy off ebay. still only half lowered today lol. gota get my hands on a spring compressor lol.
at this time i also had just had a crash so i had to get a nice green bonnet and i saved the bumper by filling in the scratches and primered up.

recently iv resprayed the oem mirrors, and the other day i started on getting the bonnet nice for prep and paint, also debadged it. and also painted the bumper.

okay now last week or so iv been working on sanding all that shitty chrome looking paint off of my wheels and polishing it up. filled in the lines along the spokes 2day and sprayed it over red to see the two finishes im going to go with.

this is it so far. the plan is to do a mini me with my d15b2 and put a d16z6 head on it and in the future turbo. should be getting the bonnet sprayed silver next week or so.

looks like you got some primer overspray on the tires also..try using some steel wool on it to remove it

cheerz dude. yh im always doing the body work. iv sorted the rust that was on the passenger door, and painted. the only thing iv got to do is sand the rust of the quarters and get that sprayed; spray the bonnet and get a new wing. so not much rele. wont take long.

nah thats not overspray its the old paint i sanded off the wheels went f**king everywhhere. most of it i probably enhaled lol, run out of masks lol.

about the wheels, im goin to put one on the car 2nite and take a pic, then take the paint off the rim and lip and see what i will look like in red and polished lip and rim, so i can make a better decision.

UPDATES!!!!!!!!!!!! woooohooo!!!

Painted my wheels today.
decided to paint them white as i mentioned before (grand prix white)
i was going to do the base colour for my hood today but it was too windy and i could be bothered to take it off and do it inside, but at least its in primer now

The hood primered; did this sunday

Started primer on the rim and then got round to the front so its nice and clean

White paint on

... and the other

and two wheels finished,.... well nearly, just need to laquer them

Take some paint thinner to the overspray on the rubber, but make sure to then tire shine them shortly after, or else the thinner will eventually cause discoloration in that area.

yeah i will do alex. got to go and buy some actually iv been painting stuff without finners for too long. didnt no about it causing discolouration so thanks.

rear is finally lowered!!!

received gmax shocks all around from CIVIC-RIC last sat, and got a pair of JDM sport LCAs.
was up till 10.30 last night fitting them to the car..... my neighbours now hate me a little bit more lol

LCA's from US in less than two days!!!

got them on...

now how she looks.

yeh sort out the rest of the rust an u would be golden.... its comin along good tho and paintin the rims white was a good choice
