well the filter alone is probly robbing a lot of power. then the fact that the turbo is probly sucking in all the exhaust gases from the wastegate would also cause a loss of power.

^ "robbing alot of power" the filter may be loosing him a little power but not alot like you say. I'm not sure if he did but alot of people take out off their filters at the dyno.

Not bad tho :thumbs up you have 8hp more than I did but all I have is a single cam @ 8psi

What size T3T04?

Honestly 194 @ 6lbs seems pretty low...
The car should put down about 150-160 N/A, then 6lbs should put that at 210-220 ish...

What are you suing for engine management, and is it tuned?

yeah t3/t4 .50AR for both side. using chrome. tune by rd-tech. also if i leave the wastegate exhaust i can lose power?

you need a dump tube for the wastegate (so do i though ). the numbers do seem kinda low, my lsvtec made over 280whp on 7psi same size turbo. what size is your downpipe/exhaust? the log mani would make a difference too

i believe its 2.5inches for down pipe. so different manifold makes a different? also this is why cheap turbo are not as good as good turbo. i think imma switch to a td05HR from evo3? or should i get another .50 AR? EDIT!!! I FLOOR on 3rd stop at 8k it was 5psi!!!! s**t my i must have a boost leak!! meaning at the dyno its 5psi!!!

5psi 6psi whatever it is something is wrong. im not sure all the parts you are using(t3/t4 doesnt mean much without trim or size) but a turbo gsr should be putting out a bit more than that even with a very basic setup with a conservative tune.

agreed. i've street tuned 2 gsr's with similar basic setups and they were each putting down around 250whp

7-8ish psi i made 276whp
my buddys stock b16 on 8 psi made around 257whp

seems just a wee bit low and boost leaks

The way the graph is it appears that the tuner does not know how to make a good tune seeing as how the vtec engagement loses a lot of power. Mine actually gains a whole lot of torque and hp with no dips where vtec engages and is much more slick.

so can that cause the problem of losing HP? also i guess i will retune it when i have the other motor in. =) in that way i wont lose so much $$ =D

tuner said that it might run to rich when vtec kick in. that why it dip. others said my vtec engage to early.
