Probably not, neither can my ears. I keep an eye on the voltage display when I'm really cranking it for a couple of songs, which isn't often cuz its too much to take for extended periods. When it reads Low I turn it down, then when I see it flicker between Hi and 14v I know the alternator just kicked on, lol. I don't plan on upgrading the alternator at this point, but I do want to improve the stock ground from the battery to the chassis.

If you want to biamplify two component sets and a sub that's what you need to do. I didn't buy all this equipment at once, it built up over the years over many cars. I have it all, so why not use it. I only bought the sub, front speakers and the 4 short RCA's new for this install, and I bought the FRX-456 used on Ebay. This system sounds absolutley amazing, extremely loud and extremely clean. You've never heard Pantera truly kick your ass unless you've heard them in this car! Pantera in concert may compare in volume, but it won't sound as clean.

My sub does that at the back too, 100% perfect fit under the lower part of the runk and up against my rear seats, was well impressed with that fit

Congrats on the install. It looks very good. Hows it sound? I love how you finished everything in carpet. It gives it a more clean and factory look compared to painted fiberglass that gets scratched too easy. Plus you still have plenty of trunk space which keeps your car more practical.

Keeping maximum trunk space was a main goal of mine. Also keeping the weight of all the equipment as close to the middle of the car as possible. Helps with handling.

Matching carpet or no matching carpet, i think it looks really good. I really like the panel behind the rear seats. And thanks for the kind words... my subs are on the other side firing into the cabin. I'm currently redoing my setup. I'm gonna have the subs mounted in the rear panel.

I built the box, and the amp boards, every last bit of this was all me.

Here's part of the backside of the main board. I mounted a 2 inch Stinger fan behind the sub amp (PCX2125). I needed to do a relay setup to turn everything on. All this stuff is too much for just the single REM wire from the deck to turn on by itself. The other relay is for the fan.

Sub box is bracketed to the main board, see the black bracket.

Here's the fan switch, in the panel over the driver's feet.

Backside of the PCX480 board:

Grounded everything under this seatbelt bolt under the backseat, drivers side:

That cheap white speaker wire you see if actually the wiring for the fan switch.
