A rear sway bar is different. it mounts to the chasis and then mounts to the lower control arms. It greatly reduces body roll and is an instant plus with our Civics.

That tie bar is mostly for looks, and it does a good job at it too! I cant wait to get rid of my tie bar for the Beaks one.

looks like it's time for new RLCA so you can accommodate the hatch w/a rear sway
