check out this dude's 96 hatch build, page 4, look at how the rear bumper support is
Also, this guy is a bit farther into the build than you are, so he may have posted a few things that will help you with your build
also feel free to PM me with questions, I own 2 6th gen hatches

A short update before the replys- got the dash out earlier along with the floor harness and rear hatch harness. not surprised but found a mouse nest down in the heater core so i have to clean that s**t all out tomorrow or wednesday. that was one of the reasons to take the dash out cause i kept seeing little mouse turds everywhere so i knew something was in there somewhere.(and to make sure the snake was gone too lol) ill snap some pics either tomorrow or wednesday. its one step closer to cleaning cleaning cleaning!
im thinking about takin a power washer to the inside of the car, yay or nay? everything will be out obviously.. ill use the lowest setting on it, but if that seems too harsh i want to at least use a scrub brush and a hose. opinions?
on to the replys!

looks like you're making good progress. Keep up the good work.

the people i bought it from said it has integra rear discs, so i assumed it has the integra sway bar too, or would it have to be the SI rear sway? when i asked them if there were SI e-brake cables used, their answer was kind of unclear, so I guess its a mystery for now unless someone can clarify it.

as for the interior, i got everything besides door panels, front seats and the center console. its tempting to leave it gutted but i want to drive it on the street somewhat comfortably. even though im sure its already going to be loud without the few things im going to leave out and the sound deadening tar out.

l had a half day of work yesterday and got a ton of stuff done. The inside of the car is stripped completely minus the fuel door and hatch cables and the harness on the hatch(that seemed like kind of a pain to get out so i left it). Basically pressure washed the entire car inside and out. Degreased and scrubbed the motor bay and the underside of the hood. Also degreased the inside of the car and scrubbed a bit here and there then pressure washed away. It was pretty dark by the time I got done to i'll have to check it out today after work. Took a ton of pics, but go figure my internets is f**ked up at home so ill have to wait to get those up whenever its fixed. I'll save the rest for the next post, gotta get back to work.

weapon of choice. thanks to tires for less for letting me use it.

damn rodents! this thing was torn up and smelled horrible! definatly threw that thing away!
