WEll i have a 2000 honda civic and just grabbed some new speakers:

Pioneer TS-A1682R
Pioneer TS-A6982R

I still have the stock deck and its not pushing out enough power so i was Wondering if anyone could suggest some good decks, and im also looking to get it installed. So a place that "included" that in the price would be good, like frys or circuit city.
All help is greatly appreciated.

Any standard cd receiver will do. If you really want better sound, a receiver and a 2-channel amp would help overall. And just about any place will install it for you.

do NOT and i mean..do NOT take it in to best buy or circuit city..you do not want some 18 year old loser working on your car..take it a real audio shop

Installing a radio into my 98 civic was a joke, I don't think it would be more difficult for a 99-00 civic. You can find the instructions on the internet, somewhere, and it only takes a minimal amount of tools. Plus you get what money can't buy... experience.

just do it yourself. use the install dr. civic's are so easy to install, it should be illegal to have it professionally done. hhahahah (kidding).
i used to install decks for all the cars in my neighborhood, and civic's were the quickest. i also worked in my friend's car audio shop.

materials needed:
1) Install.DR. .pdf
2) mounting kit (plastic border shape thing). (~$15)
3) wire harness (aka: "Snap-on wire harness" according to Install dr on top of page 8) "For Honda civic + year" (~$5).
4) electrical tape or wire connectors(recommended).

a Wire Harness (aka"Snap-on wire harness" according to Install dr on top of page 8) is to match your car's colored wires to the deck's colored wires because they're coded different colors. just match up and connect the same wire colors of the deck's wires with that wire harness thing and then plug it into your car, instead of cutting your own car's wires. Another reason to use a wire harness is that if you decide to replace the deck in the future, it's just plug-and-play. all you need to do everytime is connect the new deck's wires to the harness and plug it into your car. InstallDr will tell you everything. it says that Snap-on wireharness is "Optional", but i wouldn't go without it. besides, if you use that, you can disregard all the color code charts in the pdf. just match up the colors.

before you do anything, unplug the negative battery port so you don't pop any fuses. You pop fuses when the unconnected wires touch each other. To avoid this all together, connect the Snap-On wire harness to the deck's harness before plugging anything in. This way, you don't have to unplug the batter port because nothing touches. Also, make sure you have the security code for your stock deck if it has one, before taking it out.

THAT'S IT!

Tip:
i would recommend that you bolt down the deck in the back so that people can't pull it out from the front. There's a screw hole in the back of the deck. bolt that to one of the car's panels inside the car with some sort of metal strip. If you buy a new deck, it should include the screws and the metal strip inside the box, if not, homedepot. This way, the robber has to go thru all the car panels to get behind the deck like you did.
if not, I'll show you how to slide out decks from the front in 15 seconds another day  .

by the way, get the newer version of alpine 9884: Apline 9886. it looks SO MUCH better with the new font technology ! I've used both in person and the difference is black and white. Also, the 9886 has more features to mess with. you can get 9886 from ebay for 150-200; best buy: 300+tax.

i have the same speakers installed in my civic and they sound great running off of a 400 watt 4 channel amp.... just as long as you dont push the gain up too high... (100w x 4) as for the deck how much are you looking to spend and what kind of features do you want? theres a lot of choices out there, from mp3 playback to dvd players to bluetooth enabled decks (to connect your phone through the stereo). let me know and i can help you pick one out. i am a certified mobile electronics tech so i can help you install it too, if you need help or have any questions. and yes install dr is the best site ever when it comes to figuring out your wiring.... the link is http://www.installdr.com

good luck.

Well i was planning on getting this deck:
Pioneer DEH-P4000UB
http://www.crutchfield.com/app/produ...UB&search=4000

U think I would be ok with installing this? Because i Have NO (Absolutely NO) experience with anything with audio lol. I figured the install sheet from crutchfield and the dr install thing combined will help me out.

Exactly, I'm an installer there as well and I will tell you right now its better to pay a pro 50 bucks than to f**k it up yourself or have Circuit City f**k it up for you. I cant tell you how many times we have had to salvage someone else's negligence.
BTW, the 9886 is not the new version of the 9884, the 9884 is the new version of the 9883. 9886 has 4 volt preouts and a full screen display.

Alpine CDA-9886 (Just my recommendation.)

Take it to an audio shop, have it installed.
I've had a buddy's car come out of Best Buy and all of their electronics were shot.
It might run you about $40 bucks or something along those lines, but you're paying for peace of mind and not having to worry about your electronics shorting and catching fire and all that fun stuff.
