oooo I really like the topic of digital vs anolog. 
It's important to know since it's coming up Febuary 19th. And with all the harassing calls I get from the old folks with these f**king converter boxes, I wish I was taking that class right about now.

My teacher wants us to write an essay of any topic of our choice.... my choice of course is cars.
So here you go,

Stock cars vs Modified cars
Purpose
To explain why some people like to modify their vehicles
Message
Modifying a car is a way of self-expression
Audience (this is the part my teacher told me I needed to check a lil bit)
People that do not know a lot about cars and the "tunner" culture, people that are thinking about modifying their cars, people that think that modifying cars is a waste of money
Strategy
Mainly compare and contrast between stock cars vs modified cars, and define some car termonology, such as intercooler, or intake manifold, etc...

Your audience should be shorter, more concise, and to the point; something along the lines of "all automobile owners" or "the naperville transit advisory board," depending on the angle of your essay. Your strategy seems on point. If you're wanting to easily fill an extra page or two, do a short history of auto modification and tuner culture. I also think it would be a good idea to make major points regarding safety, street racing vs track racing, and other social aspects of the subculture. I don't think explaining the jargon is necessary, and may not flow well with the rest of the essay. In fact, it may just look like you ran out of important/relevant stuff to analyze and discuss.
Be sure you know what type of paper you are writing, whether it's informational, persuasive, argumentative, descriptive, cause & effect, etc. Be sure you know what kind of essay is required of you. Also, don't be afraid to exceed the requirements in the rubric, just don't overdo it. I'm known for writing papers twice as long as they need to be, so it will depend on your instructor's personal preferences. Don't forget to cite your sources and make proper in-text citations where necessary. Cover your ass from plagiarism and have fun with it. Start with an outline and go from there, as structure and flow are key to writing a good paper.

my fall semester end dec 12. I was hoping to graduate by june, but i would have to take 6 classes during the spring semester. i'm not sure if I'll be able to pull that off and work at the same time.Very true, i wasn't by any means suggesting it wasn't all ready good haha
