yup was bored today and decided ill try it out and figured it would go nice along with the red ctr carpet and red del sol seats...and im really happy with the results...went to a local fabric store and got a yard for a little under $2, then i went to home depot and got 3 bags of screws for $.98 cents each!!

i hope this inspires someone to go do them...theyre not as hard as they seem!!! i still have some trimming to do on the inside, but thats not too important.

NEW PICS!!!!

not sure why....but the picture makes it look like they are really bright lol...they are a bit brighter than the shade of the carpet, but i am going back for round 2, i think im gonna go with a darker suede..

EDIT!!!!!!
a few days after i installed the inserts above^^ i hated how they looked, therefore i was going to do them again. this time, i bought suede, and spray adhesive. cost me about $25 but it came out soooo much better. here is the pic of "round 2 diy ctr panels"

can never have too much red!!!!

I'm thinking about doing this as well when I get the chance. Your door panels are the stock gray-ish color right?
I think I just might buy one of those pre-cut sets, lol.

Anyways, looks good. It just makes me want to do mine even more.

Do you just wrap it over the original fabric on the panel?

How exactly do you get it to stick on the original panel though? I've never taken mine apart so forgive me for my ignorance. Did you use any kind of adhesive or whatever for the red fabric to stay on the panel?

Hmm, so this is pretty easy to do then. All I gotta do is remove the door panel and there's screws on the back so I can take out that little part of the panel right?
