Every 5 years Snell updates it's standards, that's what the 2000 or 2005 is for, 2005 being the latest standards. Most SCCA solo2 events will let you run up to 2 generations prior to the newest, meaning you have until 2010 to use a Snell SA1995 or M1995, and a SA2005 or M2005 is good 'till 2015 (according to the current rules).helmetcity.com said:1.)
