im with you.....this is EXACTLY how i feel......I believe in God. But I am somewhat agnostic. I don't totally dismiss the fact that God probably doesn't exist and religion was definitely made up somehow. Science doesn't lie.
But I still choose to believe in God. Not believe, like be oblivious to the scientific portion of life. But it's something I can rely on. Which may be confusing to some people. I can't really explain it.
I'm not hard core, like pray every night and before every meal, attend church activities, and attend bible study. But I do attend church every Sunday. I truly pray, and mention my problems and gratitude towards God for helping me with the accomplishments I've achieved.
Also. Our government was governed around religion. Religion was there to define what's wrong and what's right. If anything, I think religion was made as a moralistic law. To make people understand why doing BAD..is well bad.
.
HOLY s**t YOU KNOW WHERE I'M GOING IF I DIE?????i sorry you posted that. jesus christ died for you and me giving us freedom of our sins and eternal life. the only question i have is if you died today do you know where youre going. i do.
2 things. First of all, before I even go on about the gov't thing, if you also believe in karma, you are following either hindu, sikh, or buddhist religions, which in turn would count as blasphemy to your god that you pray to. One way ticket to hell anyone? Secondly, whether or not our gov't was 'founded on religion', I have a hard time thinking that the human race would have been much different had those funny fellas a few thousand years ago NOT written that book. Can you honestly look at yourself in the mirror and say "man, if it wasn't for religion telling government that we shouldn't kill people, I would've shanked like 30 bitches today alone." It's just preposterous to think that we as a human race, would have lied, cheated, stolen, raped, pillaged, and killed had someone not told us it was wrong to do so. If you honestly think you would, you have yet again committed blasphemy under 'the god' you pray to, and are now bringing a friend along with you on your one way trip to hell.Also. Our government was governed around religion. Religion was there to define what's wrong and what's right. If anything, I think religion was made as a moralistic law. To make people understand why doing BAD..is well bad.
But then I also believe in Karma and how everything happens for a reason.
f**k that, cut your head off, and hang you off a freeway overpass and tie a string to your arm and make you wave to the oncoming traffic.. maybe add some wings behind you.HOLY s**t YOU KNOW WHERE I'M GOING IF I DIE?????
I always thought it would be class if people used me for pranks, like when they toss those dummies over the bridge onto the freeway to scare oncoming traffic.
That would a f**king metal way to use my body.
