see i finally understand the way you athiests think. at first i was like, ok there is no way someone can lack the common sense to see that some higher being had to have created us. then i realized thats not what athiesm is about. athiests feel that religious people are 'weak' because we need something to look up to for guidance in how to live our lives, however that is not what religion is about. at least not for all of us...

first of all, i don't consider you religious people weak. it's different strokes for different folks. to each their own, ya know? what may work for you simply does not work for me. logic and rational thinking prevent me from believing in such things. atheism has nothing to do about taking down religion, since spirituality is a personal thing. we do occasionally lash out, though, mostly due to the christian doctrines of "spreading the word," which, in our eyes, equates to religious spam. whatever happened to live and let live? we're not out there trying to make you lose faith. just let us be. and don't pity us. what if i'm in the wrong? well, what if you guys are?

i still have respect for you religious folk. i just cannot believe in what you guys do. it does not make sense to me whatsoever. a god who is both his only son and a holy spirit who resides everywhere and nowhere at the same time, who came to earth 2009 years ago on a suicide mission is a good plot for an action movie, but not for my beliefs.

Because there's nothing proving God is real.

Who created God? God created everything. Who created him? Or did he just be created out of nothing as well?

If God created everything, doesn't that mean he created evil as well?

the flaw in your theory is that you are assuming such an omniscient character is impossible. how can you be so sure? do you really think that everything in our universe can be understood by the human brain and logic? you are seriously mistaken if you think humans are as great and all-knowing as you seem to believe.

No, the fact that the bible and people who wrote didn't think it through. God created everything. Who created God? People say something cannot be created out of nothing. So, was God created out of nothing? Wouldn't go against the bible and that logic?

How can i be wrong? SOMETHING has to have created us whether or not it refers to itself as god I'm unsure. All I'm saying is that just because science cannot prove something that doesn't decide whether or not it has credibility. What about the fact that the universe has no end? Science has no explanation for that yet we know it's true. There are simply things humans cannot understand and never will.
