1) you are correct kyle, everything will run itself into oblivion.. the time just hasn't come yet for this planet. scientists, however, have been closely monitoring Sol as well as the electromagnetic fields around the earth. however, don't forget that the first chaotic law is "the truth is different for everyone." many of us are walking question marks.
2) we are thriving due to our own wits, not due to the guidance of a supreme being. the last time the known civilized world was under a full guidance of an omnipresent being was the dark ages. that set humanity back a great deal.
3) as for the law of infinites, it serves to show that measurements are abstract concepts created by humans. they only truly exist in our mind. though science does a good job in approximating measurements (since they are all based on physical phenomena. for example, 1 mL of water = 1 gram of water = 1 cubic centimeter of water), we could always use more information and more factors for our calculations. as for collisions, i understand that atoms have gaps in them, much like our solar system, and that until we develop better technology, we may not be absolutely certain whether or not there has been a true collision. this, however, is research that is being performed as we speak, and is part of the reason CERN built the LHC. we as humans are still developing both the tools and the understanding of how to observe and measure these things. in fact, a lot of what we know about physics may be thrown out the window when applied at a much smaller scale (ie: particles).
you bring up excellent points and i wish i knew more about physics, metaphysics, and quantum mechanics to discuss this further. perhaps you could give me a few weeks to expand my knowledge and i'll be glad to enjoy a nice conversation/discussion/debate on the subject.
the burden of proof will always come down to tried and tested evidence.
