Horizon Grey 4 door..

Hello guys and gals, my name is Tyler. I've been on this site for quite a while, just learking around checking stuff out and trying to find answers to questions that i have. I'm 20 yrs old and i just got myself a 1995 honda civic DX 4 door, 5 speed. It is completely stock, it also was a one owner car which i thought was amazing.

Well here is a piture of it. So far i only have one picture of it. havent felt good enough to go out for a photoshoot.

I also plan on buying some other wheels for it. As much as i enjoy the factory 02 Si wheels on it. I would like something else as well. I do believe these are Rotas not sure which ones. My friend bought them and tires for quite alot of money... he told me near $1,000. The tires are toyo's, also not sure which ones. He only driven on them for like less than 500miles. Here is the picture..

I have some pictures of my old coupe that was automatic. I traded in my 94 civic DX coupe for this 4 door that i got. The coupe served me well as my first car and i had it for 5yrs. it saw 2 headgaskets, 2 waterpumps, and 2 timing belts before it left my hands. here is a couple pictures of it ... one when it was i would say its PRIME.... and one picture of it the day i traded it in.

So i hope you leave your views on my car that i got.. maybe some ideas on where to find good Ferio parts.
Any type of comment are asked for. I really don't stress myself on people with different views.

Everyone will say no to those rims cuz they arent $1800 authentic rims, but dont listen just do what you want. looks good, but fix the body first before anything.

may i ask why some people dislike these certain wheels.. they look pretty cool i thought.

there is a little bit of rust on the car yes. i dont think it looks too bad though..i also know rust can be a unforgiveing thing.

but thank you for your replys on it. like i said this will be my little project car. And i hope to keep you updated on some of its progess.

Rust isn't too hard to stop if you catch it early. The best thing you can do for your car is preventitive maitenance. Nice project car. What are your plans for the the engine. Bolt ons, swap, power adders?? Just curious There was a thread that I was reading that said you could get ferio parts in japan maybe look for a thread that you see a lot of ferios and then you can ask them where they are ordering their parts. You can also check craigs list, ebay and other sites of that nature to see if you can get lucky and snag some up

tyler i dont like the rims because they have a HUGE ass lip. im kind of over polished lips because theyre everywhere. Just my poinion man, do what you think looks good. Thats the best advice i can give

Well motor-wise i plan on just leaving the stock D15b7 in there for a while. Eventually get a D16z6 engine and start to rebuild that. I'd love to buy some internals for it, some different head parts. I know it will be costly but i have an amazing job making $13.30 an hr for 12 hrs a day. After i have gotten the engine built up to decent standards. I would love to buy a JRSC kit for it.. I like that idea of having a SC on a Honda.

I know it wont be that fastest dyno queen out there but I just want something to make me smile. As far as Ferio parts, I def. see a large amount on ebaymotors and other such sites like JDMSHIT.COM weaksauce.com. These are some very good sites. That pretty much gives you a direction on where i want to take this car.

Those tires on the Sportmax wheels look like a 45 series so I'm going to say they're Toyo T1R's. Great tire in a rare size with a big price tag. I paid around a G for my Sportmax 002's with Nexen rubber. If those are 15x8 0 et you're going to need to do some work to make them fit your EG.

yeah not sure if there 45's or 50's. I do have pictures of the wheels on my friends car. He has told me he had not problems at all on his hatch when these were on. His was also lowered a little but never ran into rubbing issues.

well as far as i know they are 195's and they are Toyo's. I really want to get them soon.Whether i do it this Friday, i am not sure. I will get pictures as soon as i get them on.

hey man i also have a red four door with a stock d15b7..love 4doors!
paint ur car.lower it and throw those rims on it.that'll be just perfect if u dont wanna touch the engine for now. mostly evryone here talks shyt about other car but trust me dont take it serious use it as an advice....nd i think those rims are pretty sick...do what u wanna do.

Oh i def. plan on doing my car they way i like it. And the thing about THESE rims is that, one: no one has them around here. two: i think that look just bad-ass with that huge lip. three: can't wait to show them off.

I am not sure of the next step after these rims. I want to start buying parts for the exterior and s**t. But just not sure..
