Picked this up today (Friday 29th). First 6th gen, second Civic overall (5th gen hatch previously). I love it, rides beautifully.

The Good:
1999 Civic Coupe DX-(G?)
Silver
157000KM
5 Speed
Anti Lock Brakes
Air Conditioning
Power Steering
Pioneer deck and speakers all around
Previous owners were an older couple who babied it.

Bad:
Needs a wheel bearing on the front, maybe on the back also.
From Ontario so some of the bolts under the hood are rusty.
Needs a polish, some minor scratches.

Not many plans for it yet (I have a Turbo Prelude in progress). Just an SI Cluster, Polish the whole car and give it a good detail, and replace wheel bearing(s). Maybe lower it at some point.

I think it's just a DX. Someone was trying to tell me that if it had Anti-Lock brakes and A/C it was usually a DX-G, but still only said DX on the back. I personally think it's just a DX with AC and Anti locks.

Thanks for clearing that up!

I will definitely post some pictures up when it gets detailed!
I have to sell my EG before I fully get it on the road (Dealer plate right now, dad owning Honda ftw!). I am driving it for the weekend and it is awesome, I can't get over how smooth it rides.

It is Virgin other than the deck and speakers, which sound amazing.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I unfortunately won't have too many updates over the next 2 weeks, it will be sitting while I drive my EG and sell it. (I have to wait for the 10th to try to sell it cause someone backed into it, that's when it goes in to get fixed). If I polish it up before then I'll get some pics of it.

Haha I am really lucky that my dad owns Honda. It's pretty sweet. At the very least I have a shop I can go to at anytime to work on my cars, and a place to store them and my engines. And I know about all the trade in's before anyone else does lol.

Does he own a big or small dealership?
I wouldn't call it big (being we are in a small town). But it's a fair size. We have about 30 employees. 2 years ago we sold about 550 cars (new and used), last year we looked on pace to beat it for a while until the economy went down the toilet (definately affected us in Canada). We sell enough for our size to get the attention of higher up Honda reps (my dad wins and is invited on lots of trips, once he got to go to Africa). Not big enough to stock cars like the S2000 though (we did once and lost money on it cause it sat for so long).

It's a great privilege to have a dad that owns a dealership, it's awesome.

Picked up an SI cluster:

Before:

After making a few changes:

What I changed:

-Swapped the speedometer with the one from my DX cluster to keep the proper KM.
-Added the bezel from my DX cluster so it now covers the Cruise Control light (which I don't have).
-The SI Bezel doesn't have the low washer fluid light in the top left corner, so adding the DX one also solved that.
-Added the light for washer fluid from the old DX cluster.

Installing tomorrow to check everything works.
