it took me about 4 months to find this car, and about a month after i decided on it til i could get it. don't waste your time with inattentive sellers!! you need to trust your seller as much as he trusts you. bill and i had a good rapport, and i sent him a check for $1000 to hold the car til i could fly out there. he didn't even cash it until after the purchase, and also did me the favor of turning down a couple local prospects.
note: i found the car on nasioc, so he knew i was an enthusiast from the get-go. that may have helped. brian, there's a couple subies here sold locally on indianaimpreza.com if you're interested. let me know what you're looking for and what your budget is. i'll give u a hand. i'm already helping jaime find a wagon

Hmm I've been on nasioc but alot of them are modded already. I've exhausted autotrader, cars, carsoup, craigslist, mnsoc, u name it. I havent been on indianaimpreza though I'll check that out. Obviosuly Id like to spend as little as possible but I'll spend 14k max. Im looking for an 05+ but if thats not possible I'd prefer a bugeye over the 04s. I like the 2005+ because of the new interior, heated seats, heated wipers, etc. Thanks for the help Anf I really appreciate it
