are you a member adrian?
As a matter of fact I am!are you a member adrian?
All this civic stealin is making me tweak, i think instead of keeping my civic for 3 - 4 years i might sell it in 1... buying something less stealable...
What should I get that's "normal". My parents are tweaking out so much now that they won't let me get the miata..
Pretty big post to quote. lolany car can be a target, but you can lower the need for someone to steel a car by not making it seem like there's something worth stealing. It also depends where the car is mostly going to be at, obviously more theft happens in the city since there's all types of crazy people. if your car's going to be in a area where it could be target, start by not doing any exterior modifications to, that's usually the most noticeable thing. once a thieve see that the car has exterior mods(body kits, lips, headlights, wheels, paint, wing, ect), they'll look inside. "ah, those are nice seats. I can use that nice steering wheel too, and that head unit and im sure this guys's got subs and an amp in the trunk SCORE! " a car like that will be a high target for thieves.
You can own a civic and not get it stolen, just remember not to bring attention to it. Im sure by now we all know what brngs attention to a car. Thieves aren't looking to steal cars to drive them because you can't drive a stolen vehicle. They look for civics with valuables on them. in a sense , you have to think like a thieve.
please take my advice seriously.
