okay guys i need some help , i think lol. so i turbo'd my last car and didnt know all that much i guess, it was a vr6 jetta it lasted about a year. then i sold it. ive been readin up on these motors and there are quite a bit of people running 14psi at 300 hp on a stock b18b1 which is the motor i have now. im piecing together a turbo kit. the bare minimum of what i need. well kinda. so heres what i got so far please let me know if im missing anything as well as any pointers you have.

parts list:

t3/t04e turbo
tial 38mm wastegate
arp head studs
hallman pro rx bc
boost and A/F gauges
550cc injectors
oil feed and return lines, steel braided
vac lines
walbro 255 fuel pump

i am still looking for an exhaust manifold, arp rod bolts, head gasket(should i use OEM?), intercooler&piping, a software to run with my computer(p73) anyone run crome? tap my oil pan or find one already tapped, and a BOV.

is there anything im missing??

you have to buy a chip with a crome basemap... then take it to a dyno and have them fully tune it for you...

www.xenocron.com

ya i would just use a oem hg...since your running arp headstuds it should be fine...

stock map is only good to about 11psi, so if you ever wanna go above just get a 3bar right away.

i've heard people arguing back and fourth about the s300 system and neptune rtp right now i just wanna get something thats cheap and that will work for now im only shooting for 10 psi. when i get my taxes back this year im goin all out and rebuilding the motor, gsr trans, new turbo the works. CIVHATCH92 have you ever heard of tunerview i think its called? will that work with crome pro (system im trying to get) or does it only work with hondata and neptune and the higher end softwares

XENOCRON.COM FTW!!

seems like you have a pretty good idea of whats needed to make the power and be realible!!

I love OEM honda parts (headgaskets, water/oil pumps, gaskets, oil, filters, etc)

pretty much a stock Ls motor (long block), with a decent manifold and turbo will make 300whp on pump gas and as long as you are not a leadfoot 100% of the time and don't monitor the motor. You'll be good, and tons fo fun..

Good Luck.. and get it tuned!! (get a widebanddd)

Never heard of that.. I got hondata S300 because thats what my tuner uses... there's lots of different options out there really.

I got my stuff from John Vega at www.phearable.net

yea the only time ill rip the car is on the weekends or once or twice a week. im pretty anal about my cars so i think it should be fine. this is my second turbo build the first time i didnt really know what i was doing and got lucky. so ive been really reading up on this stuff and have talked to a couple people running pretty much the same setups number wise im still looking for a new turbo and manifold. hopefully i can find a cheap manifold. if it breaks i can always reweld it since i have been going to school for welding i should have no proplem patchin it up or makin a new one who knows. i read up on the chip and im glad you can drive it to get it tuned i had to trailer my other car to the shop.

i'm tuned on eCtune , and i'm makign some good power. It's pretty much a chipped ECU justtt like Crome Gold, neptune, etc

TunerView is is avaliable for Neptune and Crome Pro
