well... my reasoning...

i like the black box and black controllers... so...

and elite would do me...

but... it only comes with one controller... i like football... with 2 people... so i would have to go spend 60 on a matching black controller..

making total to 359bux...

well.... i love movies.. and love downloading things like demos... and other s**t...


120GB isnt even gonna cut it... even 250 isnt enough... im gonna need more storage..

and... it comes with CODMW2.... 60 more dollars i dont need to spend...

400 for the console, large HD, and 2 controllers...to me... is worth it.

i plan on getting the Netflix subscription as well...

and im handy with tools... so i will not be needing the wireless adapter..... i will run a hardline.

only thing ill need to be getting is more games..


and... i have the cash in the bank to do it.... so why not just do what i intended to do... instead of use the money saved on something retarded im going to regret.

it really depends on the TV you use....

honestly.. i have a Vizio 32" full 1080P HDTV.. i am yet to hook a console up to it...but this TV looks better than the samsung of the same class.... i cant blame it on programming.. because we have the same directv service...

my parents have a 42" LG full HDTV..

there is a PS3 hooked up to it... and graphics are ok... much better when you use the HDMI over the standard connection obviously...

Blu Ray movies to me on the PS3... are grainy... there are spots where you can see quality flaws. maybe it was the movie... maybe it was the PS3.. maybe it was the TV.. i dont know...

so im going to step on a limb here and say.... unless you have both systems... or someone here has both systems on the same TV... nobody can answer this question for you.

now... if you are looking at buying the system... but dont have an HDTV... of course... the graphics of both will suffer HUGE. it will be like playing an original Xbox.. or PS2.

it doesn't depend on the tv, or even the system. It depends on the developers. Every multi-platform game is made for 360 so it looks better, then its ported to sony and it looses quality. 360 and ps3 would have the same graphics if it was done as if it was its own game on each system.

The best example of this, and the most humorous was the ghost busters game... It was made by a Sony developer, published on both ps3 and 360, but it looked much better on xbox. Want proof? Google is that way... its been shown.

oh yea, and ps3 loads multi-platform games faster due to them being xbox sized content, but games exclusive to ps3, which take up most if not all of the blu-ray disc, yea... they take a long ass time to load.

I definitely love my 360 and probably play it more than the PS3.... but there's no arguing the fact that the PS3 can makes games look like the next generation to the XBOX 360. On the big exclusives anyway.

Multi-platform games are 9/10 times basically the exact same graphics-wise.
