Sounds great, but I hope you plan on putting some different wheels on it when you lower it.

No rush. Just put snow tires on the stockers so I'm going to enjoy the drop on the stockers until the spring.! =)

Nice man!!!! What type of equitment do you play on? What style do you play?
I have a Pearl kit i bought in the mid 80's that i use with an old 70's ludwig snare. They sound great so i've stuck with them. started its life as a 6 piece, but over the years i've chopped the set down to the basics...bass, snare, 11x13 tom and 16x16 floor (much easier to mic lol). all sabian's with the exception of my zildjian splash - 14" hats, 20" ride, 22" china, 14" crash, 15" crash, 18" crash/ride, 10" splash and all evans heads ftw! I've got a few other cymbals that get thrown in and out of the mix but thats the current setup.

I prefer to play alternative and rock music, but my father has a small local studio i do some work at so i play a lot of country and gospel...contemporary and southern. little bit of everything to be honest.

what are you workin' with right now?

Cool man! my first kit was a yamaha stage custom which I loved! Then after a couple years I bought myself a pearl masters seriers mmx. I started giving lessons as well as gigging about 4 times a week so I bought another kit. A pearl brx! Loved that kit but a friend of mine loved it more haha! So I sold it and bought a Masterworks! I wish I had pix but i'm on my itouch and I don't know how to post pix haha! But then at one point I bought a third kit. It was a masters blx in gold sparkle it was gorgeous but I quickly sold it bc 3 kits was over kill haha! Long story short after all of that I began to grow away from muSic because I got a real Job and decided to go back to school so I sold all my kits except for my masterworks.... If I get to a real comp I'll post up some pix!

nice! you had a much better first kit than i had (i wont even talk about that lol). My first new kit was a bottom dollar set of Slingerlands i paid for by mowing yards as a kid for a whole summer. the hardware was horrible and the drums sounded just as bad. but at age 11 they were the s**t...lol.

its funny how much $$ we get wrapped up in percussion. I dont think most people realize the cost of a good set and cymbals at 2-300 or more a pop.

are you diggin' your masterworks snare? I've heard good things but never had a chance to beat on one...
