Sounds great, but I hope you plan on putting some different wheels on it when you lower it.
I have a Pearl kit i bought in the mid 80's that i use with an old 70's ludwig snare. They sound great so i've stuck with them. started its life as a 6 piece, but over the years i've chopped the set down to the basics...bass, snare, 11x13 tom and 16x16 floor (much easier to mic lol). all sabian's with the exception of my zildjian splash - 14" hats, 20" ride, 22" china, 14" crash, 15" crash, 18" crash/ride, 10" splash and all evans heads ftw! I've got a few other cymbals that get thrown in and out of the mix but thats the current setup.Nice man!!!! What type of equitment do you play on? What style do you play?

Yeah I worked my balls off for my yamahas I bought them for 500 bucks from my moms friend haha! The money I had in these kits was just unbelievable.... Love my mw snare but I'm actually rocking a Tama warlord right now real thunderous!nice! you had a much better first kit than i had (i wont even talk about that lol). My first new kit was a bottom dollar set of Slingerlands i paid for by mowing yards as a kid for a whole summer. the hardware was horrible and the drums sounded just as bad. but at age 11 they were the s**t...lol.
its funny how much $$ we get wrapped up in percussion. I dont think most people realize the cost of a good set and cymbals at 2-300 or more a pop.
are you diggin' your masterworks snare? I've heard good things but never had a chance to beat on one...
and for you BILLY your wrong..its not 6 months OR 250 posts its 6 months AND 250 posts!http://www.clubcivic.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=42
