ok so i got 2 15" digital audio subs in a box with a 800 watt american pro amp for dirt cheap. they hit pretty hard for 800 watt amp. the subs are 1000 rms each. was wondering what amp i should get. the only two amps ive ever had were audiobahn and hifonics. i was looking at hifonics 2000watt amp for 250. anyone no any other good 2 channel amps that would go with these subs good and under 250 new? please let me no. also how are crunch amps? i found a new 1000 watt crunch amp for $95. i could get 2 of them. but ive never experienced crunch.

please leave some opinons

You get what you pay for. A $95 amp will give you about $95 worth of sound quality. Which isn't that good. I would recommend you get a JL Audio amp. Doesn't really matter which one you get, they are all good. You say the subs are 1000w rms each. There is no reason to run that much power through them. Get a amp that will give you 250w rms for each sub and that will be plenty of power. Anything over that is just overkill unless you have badass speakers inside your car to match with the sub level.

yes go ahead and give 250 watts to a 1000 w sub..that'll clip the amp and blow the subs...

any amp that does a clean 2000 watts isn't gonna be cheap...

ya i no they need quality power. thats why im replacing the american pro amp. plus its not enough to push my subs. im looking to get a 2000-2400 watt amp. damn i just looked up those rockford amps. 365 dollars just for a 1000watt. im probably gonna go with the hifonics or maybe this audiobahn one. its the same price.
what u guys think about this audiobahn amp, its 1600 rms 3200 max

Are you able to wire those subs down to 1 ohm? Why are you so set on a 2 channel amp? It is easier to get a mono amp with more power for less money.

im not really set on a 2 channel amp. im not sure what ohms is im guesing one ohm is just two wires connected to the sub? thats how mine are. only two wires connects to the cone. the only amps i could find around 200 that are good and enough watts are hifonics and audiobahn. the hifonics one is 2000 watt mono

why do you think the hifonics amp and the audiobahn are so cheap? they don't do rated power...

there is so much wrong with those 3 sentences i dont know where to begin (no offense, just dont want you to get a new amp and blow it 20 minutes later). you have a couple of nice subs. whatever amp you decide to go with, PLEASE do a little research on how to wire up your subs the right way. for instance are they single or dual voice coil? are you planning on running them at 4, 2, or 1 ohm? does the amp you plan to buy support the load you plan to wire? all of these things are accomplished by the way you wire your subs.

You get what you pay for is soooo true... Yea there is some things out there that are way over priced... That is why you search for good Deals. JL Audio is high priced yes but amazing quality... Not everyone can afford JL... so you do with that you got... Avoid Best Buy amps, such as Sony Xplod... I bought one a while ago, the 1200w red top and it would over heat all the time.... I even had it mounted to my back seat in another car, would roll down the window had plenty of air and would over heat... Which is a prime example, you get what you pay for...

Spend some time researching like Manderson said on what exactly you want... Once you figure that out look for a good amp... Try http://www.sonicelectronix.com/ they have good deals...

honestly, i dont judge too much on brand name. what you can afford is what you can afford. my only concern with the op is the fact that it seems he may not know too much about ohms and the various ways of wiring subs to obtain the ideal load for the amp (based on prevoius post). just google it a bit.
