It does look very dark.. I'm used to abita being a little lax on flavoring with undetectable bitterness, but good nonetheless. I suppose this is the exception.

Yeah. Just wasnt for me. I really liked the Murphy's the most. Then the 1554, then the Black and Tan.

Yea... they sell hopslam at my whole foods. Is it not this year's batch? I just recently saw it hit stores maybe 3 weeks ago?

I've never had it though. I figured it would be pretty damn bitter....

Firestone double barrel ale. This stuff is the bees knees man. I found it randomly on tap at my local bar and after tasting it, was in heaven, I highly recommend anyone that can, gets their hands on it.

Hopslam here is all gone in the same week its released. And yeah, hoppy as all hell. If you dont like that kind of beer, I'd run from the hopslam.

Currently enjoying a Peroni with an assortment of italian meats leftover from easter. The taste has never been spectacular on this one, but it's full bodied, and I love that about this particular beer. Obviously goes well with a good italian meal.

On Easter, I had a bottle of Lindeman's Pomme Lambic. Delicious fruity apple taste to it. Drank the whole bottle in one sitting, as I frequently do when it comes to Lindeman's lambics. It's just so smooth and has a great taste.
