Thread is simple, take the sheet and put down what you'd use/carry with you. Then why you choose what you did.

Keep the bullshitting and f**king around to a minimum.

Template:

Mine:

Clothing:
  • Good quality military spec boots for rugged terrain
  • Good quality cargo pants for carrying whatever I need
  • Quality gloves to protect from scratches, bites, ect.
  • Military style vest to carry pistol, extra ammo and whatever else I need
  • DC Hat, just because.
All black for night time stealth.

Location:
  • Place - Lanai, small island, not that difficult to hike travel around, small population
  • Stronghold - Warehouse type building. Needs to be able to built to last, not made from aluminum, cement or brick preferred. Lots of space for storage and living quarters.
  • Vehicle - Hummer H1 that's been modified for off-road use. Large tires, extra suspension travel, added lights for night-time use, room for other humans if needed and storage.
Weapons:
  • Primary - M4 with EOTech 555.A65 model sight, suppressor and tactical hand grip
  • Secondary - Springfield XD Compact 45, shot this before, felt perfect in my hand, not much recoil, light and easy to handle, perfect all around pistol
  • Melee - Crowbar, perfect multiweapon/tool. Can be used to kill, stab, whatever and can also be used to force locked doors open, or pry things apart.
Inventory/Backpack:
  • Night vision goggles - Need I say more?
  • Ammo - Plenty of 5.56 and 45 caliber ammo. Can be stored in warehouse and there's plenty of this type of ammo.
  • AA Batteries for EOTech sight and NVG and whatever else I may need them for. Light and plentiful.
  • Flint fire starter for well, starting fires. Water proof, long lasting.
  • Water purification tablets to purify dirty water.
Other misc stuff:
  • Spray paint for own use to mark houses that have been cleared and any other use
  • No sidekick.
Now it's your turn.

I have a couple questions.
1. The items that we pick, do they have to be items that we already have? Meaning....is this a "if the zombies came tomorrow, what would you take?" or can you pick anything realistic?
2. The primary and secondary weapon, is it a long gun, and pistol combo? Or can we pull a Modern Warfare 2 and have a rifle and a shotgun?
3. What do you mean by sidekick? A friend that you take with you?

I have ideas, just want to clear this up.

1. Nope, doesn't have to be items you already have. You can pick things you'd LIKE to have.
2. You can have any combo you'd like, no restrictions.
3. A sidekick, a dog, a friend, a pet, anything.

Okay, because those things greatly affected my decisions. So here goes.

Apparel would consist of everything you have picked out with a couple changes. The gloves would have the fingers cut off, I cant work with covered fingers. I would have a SWAT style helmet instead of a DC hat  and I would have a bullet proof vest underneath my shirt/jacket whatever Im wearing depending on time of year. Just because zombies are after you, doesnt mean real people wont end up shooting at you accidentally/on purpose.
Weapon would also be an M4/AR15 chambered for 5.56 due to vast military being around. Retrieving ammo would be easier. Backup would be a Remington 870 tactical (holds more shells) for clearing out rooms. Barrel would be for buck shot. If possible, I would have a Glock .40 strapped to my right thigh. If thats asking too much I will let that go and keep the 870. Melee weapon would probably be a crow bar, and my S&W boot knife strapped to my thigh.
Vehicle would be some kind of big vehicle. Possibly an Avalanche, or maybe an H2 truck, or even a Ram 3500......as long as it had a bush guard on it
Gear would consist of my Maglite 3D LED flashlight, lots of extra ammo, some water and food.
Realistically I would camp down somewhere with my friend who has a couple guns. He would be my sidekick.

The End.

But what about the boat? Over time it's going to become run down, things are going to break. What are you going to do about that?
