yeah i went to 3 banks and a credit union. the credit union didnt even want to offer a loan without me having an account with them. on top of that i had to have the car already registered in my name with the DOT and have tags on it :rolf:... like how the f**k do you own a car before buying it?? the banks didnt want to offer a used car loan for a model older than 6 years. when i asked about personal loans they all said the interest rate would be around 12-16% and they wouldnt do more than 24months of payments = about $360-380 a month.. f**k that.

nice sig tony . ur gonna get an infraction for the size though :smackself

You should look into opening an account with a Credit Union. They don't have the fee's that banks do, they aren't a "For-Profit" institution, you own a part of the credit union when you open an account, I honestly have no cons for credit unions.

Yeah a Credit Union depends soley on its clients for its support, where as a bank gets help from the government. That's why they are more lenient.

A bank is a For-Profit business, the credit union is not. I don't get charged overdraft fee's, maintenance fee's, I get a pretty decent interest rate on my saving account as well.

Well banks have accounts where there is no maintence fee... And the CU's around here do have OD fees...

i have a free checking acount with a southeastern bank, first citizens, and havent had any problems. they've never charged me for anything. i couldn't justify closing the account after 7 years to transfer to a CU that offers the same things..
