I don't see the point in someone being called "spoiled" I always took the word as someone would say because they were jealous.

There's a difference between loving your kid and getting them what they want and just plain getting your kid everything they want. If you have the money, great. But at least have the parenting skills to explain to your child the value of money and not just go on a whim and spend ridiculous amounts of money for things they don't need and only want. Spending $8000 on a bed is absurd. No one needs an $8000 bed.

I think both parties have a solid point. Jason, you are right. The word "spoiled" IS thrown around a whole lot. And it seems like most of the times its used by older generational parents who grew up with Great Depression parents. My grandparents were all part of the Depression, so my parents were never as quick to buy me much of anything I wanted. Not that we ever really had much money to, but I probably could have gotten that Power Ranger Megazoid that one Christmas

I am no where near jealous about having parents that would buy me an $8000 bed. Hell, I don't even let my parents give me money even though I'm broke as f**k. HELL, I'm almost 23 and I have never owned a bed bigger than a twin size. Unless you have sleeping problems or need a specific bed for your body so it doesn't ache or whatever, there is seriously no need to spend $8000 for a bed lol.

if i had 100 million dollars you better f**king believe im going to be sleeping in a bed that costs AT LEAST 8000. i didnt just bust my ass my whole life to sleep on a mattress on a frame. a tempurpedic mattress costs like 2000-4000, id have 1 for every bedroom.

I honestly dont know what I would do if I had 100 million dollars. I would have to be in that situation first. It would be nice, because I would be able to select what kind of bed Im comfortable in WITHOUT worrying about price. The comfort would be my biggest concern. If I had $100 million in the bank and found a comfortable bed for $600, I would get that bed

On a side note, it must be nice to have that kind of money.....
