Jason you be the pitcher in that game and let them call that call on you
I think i would of had to go get bail money

Yea I was kinda thinking that too. If they had replays in baseball for close plays at a bag, it seems it would take away from the game rather than contribute to it....Mistakes happen, it would've sucked, but you know what? Life goes on. It's not the end of the world.
How do you think the guys in the 30s, 40s and 50s played without all this? It's because they did it for the love of the game, and 90% of the guys in Baseball don't do it for that, they do it for the big money which is why most of the professional sports suck.
I saw that one too, he was clearly out at 2nd. Just a bad day in baseball I guess...yeah Twins got shitty call last night too in the 10th

Not really...Baseball sucks.
well the world changes, man. Try walking to work tomorrow. That's how they did it in the 1910's but you might be annoyed if you had to do that nowadays...Mistakes happen, it would've sucked, but you know what? Life goes on. It's not the end of the world.

Giving Baseball instant replays will the absolute worse thing they could do to the sport. I get bored by it enough, but once they add Instant replays and challenges, it'll ruin the sport.well the world changes, man. Try walking to work tomorrow. This is Bud Selig's perfect change to make a change that people have been calling for for a long time.
Human error was acceptable because people weren't like they are today. They were there to play a game, have some fun and do what they enjoy. Today, it's all about stats for that next big paycheck. I say leave the sport as is, it's already boring enough as is.i doubt any sport had instant replay in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. the technology didnt exist for an instant replay to occur within a moment of occuring, like we have today. Human error was probably acceptable because there was no way around it back then.
yeah that was tough to watch, especially when its the last play of the gameI saw that one too, he was clearly out at 2nd. Just a bad day in baseball I guess...
two things. first, if you are so bored, then you probably aren't watching much baseball anyway so they probably can't win you back with or without replays. the game isn't getting any faster.Giving Baseball instant replays will the absolute worse thing they could do to the sport. As much as I'm personally against adding replays in MLB, Technology > human eye. Sad but true.two things. first, if you are so bored, then you probably aren't watching much baseball anyway so they probably can't win you back with or without replays. the game isn't getting any faster.
and second, you're right that challenges would a terrible idea. but i think there is a way to get the calls right without spending more then an extra 15 seconds on the play. Put a fifth umpire in a booth somewhere to watch close calls in instant replays. give him a walky-talky and put a freaking speaker and an antenna on the home plate umpires mask...
ehh I feel it takes away from what the game was originally meant to be rather than contribute to it. Of course, we can argue that steroids and money have changed it too, but either way, the league doesn't need something else to take away from it.are you against it for any reason other then the time issue? What do you think about my option? am i missing something?
I agree, but I'm curious. Why do you think so?Instant replay would definitely ruin the game imho... but it's nothing that steroids haven't already done
