Yea, origin of the name payton/peyton is boy based... something or other.

However, my lady a fan of One tree hill (Peyton Sawyer - played by Hilliarie Burton & Peyton List from Mad Men/Flash Forward)... she kinda fell in love with the name. I almost burst her bubble when I told her you sure you want our daughter to have the same first name as Peyton Manning... she was like... "who is that?"... /facepalm.... I did further explain, but I was severely disappointed she didn't know who he was.

For some reason P. Mannings brothers name completely slipped my mind... Dont know how I didnt catch that.

So yea, the argument still persist... everyone I have talked to has voted for Peyton, but my fiance and her friends like Payton. I think im pretty much f**ked.
