I'm probably going to get it at some point, but the release games aren't enticing enough. I'll wait to see if the games make good use of it.

well they also said u can use it to maneuver around the dash as well.yea the games aren't amazing at all but they are more so to get the feel of it not just amazing gaming

Yea, that part is cool. I like the hands free DVD controls. However, I'm not going to fork out that cash just to be a little lazier. It needs to have the game support.

It looks pretty interesting. If anything, I would get it to get my girlfriend involved. She wants to get a Wii (I just tell her to play with my wii more, I tell her its user interactive......but she doesnt fall for that) so maybe this can be the substitute.

This doesn't really have that sort of functionality. Not that I've yet to see anyway. Playing a fps.. if you turn right... well, you're not facing the tv anymore. Not to mention, how stupid would you feel holding a pretend gun and pulling your pretend trigger while standing up in front of your tv?

Now if they came out with a gun controller that could be used with the kinect that had directional buttons on it.. and the gun was used more for aiming with zero lag. That could be cool.

Like I said, it'll all depend on how the games support it. I've seen the launch line up, and I am not impressed. The only one that looks kind of cool is the star wars game. Aside from that, I'm disappointed. The games so far are utilizing it the same way they would utilize a Wii. I've already got a Wii. No thanks.

Kinect is nothing like the Wii. Anyone who says that it is, is retarded. This thing actually maps our points on your body to keep track of you. It can read emotions. It can read paper. Plus its fully interactive. NO CONTROLLER. the Wii is controller based.

Anyways im going to get it. When tho, depends on the price. I know the game support at first will be slow, but as its out for longer more and better games will come out.

No, the physics behind it are nothing like the wii. However, the release games are almost all Wii like games. They aren't using the Kinect to its full potential.

The dreamcast was a great idea too, but lacked the video game support that it needed to make the system great. I fear that the same thing might happen with the Kinect.

My girlfriend and I have been looking for something she could play, but havent been able to find anything. And even if we did find something, I would still need to pick up another controller. So Im looking at $70 already, might as well invest in the kinect a little bit down the line so she can enjoy it.

of course the first games arent going to use it the way its supposed to be used. Developers havent had much time to use the technology. Of course it will take take time to make those.

I still have mine! I tried to seel it with my games and no one wanted it.
