So my STI is running up on pretty high mileage and I'm not really into the whole sooped up car scene anymore. I was tossing around the idea of trading in my car for a newer STI, but I don't think I'd want to be paying for a car with a higher monthly rate. So I looked into other cars and what not and found nothing to my likings until I came across these 2 Foresters (used and in my budget)!
2009 Subaru Forester 2.5XT - $26k - 22,493 miles
- I love the color on this, and the new spiffier interior (except the seats, the seats look horrible!), but it's a 4spd automatic, although great for long trips and daily driving.
Or this (Janiks has one w/ much lower miles, but I don't think he'd take my car as a trade in luls).
2006 Subaru Forester 2.5XT Limited - $17k - 61,907 miles
- Subtle and sleek! 5spd manual, leather interior, and very affordable! Plus, if I pick this up, I can swap over my turbo from the STI plus other little do dads! The only bad thing is that it's high in mileage as well.
------------------------------------
This so people know, the meaning of the "T" in the "XT" is that it's TURBOEDDD!
------------------------------------
*Not looking to pick up a brand new vehicle since that'll cost even more per month and I still owe a little bit on the STI.
So... Why am I posting this here on Clubcivic? Because you guys are fam and I need opinions! Oh and a recap of what my car looks like...
