not bad chris, id be wary of 50k+ on aftermarket suspension but keep your ears tuned for any creaks/groans. Ask what else was replaced by the dealer for the 90k/100k maintenance. The ass of that car looks to be sagging, in order to fix that you'll need some spacers to fix that. Check out tire wear as well

I will check it out before buying. Just don't know much about Subbys. Just wish I had about 12k to throw down.

everything brian said lol... you pretty much covered it.

and everyone's right. you might as well get a GC if you're wanting a N/A subie. much cheaper, lighter curb weight, sexier body... and like rey said, a wrx can be had for an extra $1.5-2k... get a quote from your insurance company to see if wrx ins is affordable. imho, best course of action would be to get a GC coupe (2.5rs) and save up for an ej257 + 6spd swap (or perhaps a jdm ej2x variant).... rsti = win ... plus you'd still be paying RS insurance rather than STI insurance.

Exactly.

Anf, I don't understand those codes(I only know Civic codes[somewhat]). I don't like those body styles on the prev gen. I love bug eye and croc eye subbys. I probably could find an WRX for like 2k more but then insurance will be alot more. Don't get me wrong, I'm taking all of your advice to mind but there's just not much around here for cheap.

Plus, I can only get something 2001 or newer If I want a loan.

EDIT: I meant WRX, not STi

i say expand your search area. i found the silver wrx in new jersey because it was $3k cheaper there than in the midwest. that's enough of a difference to pay for a dealership inspection, fly out and drive back.

you should really try to a 2001 2.5RS and drop in an ej257 (sti engine) and the 6spd tranny
