my rhd conversion .... so far

i cut out the firewall as close as i could and it matched up almost perfect, but in some spots there is more of a gap then in others. i should have it welded this week. i know the right way is to drill out all the spot welds, which i started to do, but then just decided to cut my firewall out and then cut the rhd one out. then i trimmed it down till it slid in place. i have a few more pics from today, but i have to upload them still

ah, ok. just curious that's all.. bad ass project man!

Love seeing these conversions, so that when I pick up a nice low-mileage JDM RHD Civic in the future I'll know how to convert it to LHD. RHD on LHD roads is such a royal pain in the backside and quickly loses its novelty. Good luck with all your work!

It's funny..I've seen guys in Japan doing LHD conversions while we do RHD conversions. They have Japanese companies that import USDM parts. No one can ever be happy lol.

in most states if not all it is illegal to alter ur firewall at all, so theyre right...
