Wow that duct came out f**king awesome! Waiting to see the final product, and see it mounted. I still think it would look the best painted to match with the duct left CF. Is there any weight difference?

Thanks man! I gotta get off my lazy ass to finish it. And actually there is a pretty big difference, I'll bring out my scale and weigh the stock one vs the fiberglass one vs the kevlar one. Kevlar is definitely the lightest
And yeah, blue with a kevlar duct sounds good to me too haha.

Yeah man, there's already 4 people in my build thread over there that want some made haha.

Well, my EM1 is officially sold, I am 4k$ richer, and a warehouse space lonelier haha.

I did get my correct duct in though! Put it on for giggles. I'll be making a mold of that one tonight

Finally cracked down on the sidemarkers today...what a cut! I took like 2 hours to do 1 side lol, I haven't even done the other side O_o

Cut out the diagram, measured the placement, and taped away. I didn't have painters tape but this masking tape worked just fine for me.

Got to cutting, and did a test fit with the gasket...perfect fit! So, after a little bit of smoothing the edges, it slid right in, nice and sturdy.

And now it's in!

It's all good man! Some people like the markers, some hate them I personally love them, because they're clear so it goes well with the clear markers up front, and it has a chrome ring, which goes good with all the other chrome goodies I have

I like that you can take what people say and just roll with it, regardless of whether its positive or not. And the way you describe it TRULY shows that you are doing it for YOU and nobody else. Gotta respect that, not too many people do that today.

Thanks for that man. Everyone has their own tastes in cars, mods, etc, and you have your own. Do what you like, make yourself happy with what you created. If you have a few fans in the world that enjoy your creation, that's the best thing you could ask for in my opinion
