You make me want an Si soooo bad. Such a clean setup. The Si's look clean man.
Thanks man =)

I love those RPF-1's they have been one of my facorite pair of wheels for a while. I always liked the way that they look on my Celica. Very clean car man, and it is awseomse that you were able to have such a nice photoshoot.
Thank you =) Yea I've loved the rpf1's for a while myself and was just waiting to find a good deal on some and ended up getting these brand new with brand new tires for $900! I can't wait to get them powder coated dark bronze tho :woot:

So I was thinking about what I could do to give my car a little bit more "character" on a budget and decided to do this...

I grabbed my plain ol' stock valve cover...

And I spooged on it...

My super spooge miraculously stripped the ugliness away...

Then I got real freaky and shaved that bish...

Masked 'er up...

Primered 'er up...

Then I grabbed my trusty bomb can here...

And hosed 'er down...

And then I remembered I had these in the garage...

And did this with them...

Here she is all dolled up...

I'm letting the paint cure for a few days and will stick it on my car and take some pics of it and post them up shortly. Stay tuned =)

So I decided to get a Wink mirror and really kinda dig it actually. I really like how there are absolutely NO blind spots at all now. I'm sure I'll get more haters on it than not but whateva, I likes it =)

and thanks to everyone for all the comments. I appreciate it =)

It's been a while since my last update on this site so I figured I'd just copy/paste this from another forum I'm on and show you guys what I've been up to...

I just want to start this off by commending those that have done full engine bay tucks... MUCHO kudos to you. Second, those of you thinking about starting a bay tuck, think long and hard about it and follow this to see if it's something you really want to do lol

Anyways, I finally started what I've been wanting to do for quite sometime this weekend MY BAY TUCK!!! Keep in mind it is FAR from complete and this is going to be a very time consuming procedure. Everything will be done right the first time even if it takes me 6 months to complete.

First, before you get started with something of this magnitude it is critical to have 3 things...

Here we go...

Pile O' shtuff

Now you see it...

Now you don't...

LOTS of emissions crap gone...

Battery & fuse box gone...

Pile of fun...

No mo' airbags...

Here's where it gets fun...

Then BAM!!!

Passenger side harnesses getting ready to exit the bay...

See ya bye...

Plugged up...

Pulled the harness inside and started the separating...

Driver's side...

Don't be jealous...

I've decided to keep power steering for the time being until I get a manual steering rack so I figured I'd clean up the brackets that hold it on...

Got the engine harness out...

I decided that since I had all this free space in the bay I'd FINALLY swap out the rear motor mount...

Today was a good day...

Plugged some more holes.......badump bump

Started putting the p/s back together...

No one will probably ever notice these (alternator brackets) but I do, so I decided to clean them up...

Media blasted...

Then I sprayed 'em down...

Starting to get there...

I'm not even close to being finished with it so please keep that in mind haha.
I'll make sure to try and keep this forum updated as often as possible with this project.

Oh and a slim fan and an Inline fuel filter will do wonders to your already sick bay.

Yea I've actually decided against doing them in bronze and am going to PC them white with a small blue time attack style ring around the edge

Yea, I have LOTS more in store for it. Shaving/Re-painting the entire bay, aluminum rad, slim fan, Chase Bays clutch line, brake lines relocated behind the dash, S2K clutch master cylinder, stainless steel fuel line with inline filter and a manual steering rack to ditch power steering. Just need time and money. Two things kinda hard to come by these days haha

Yeah bronze wouldve been too dull for your EM1. White with a blue ring is going to look EPIC!!!

Meh, not a fan of shaved and FULLY tucked bays. I like yours so far; respectable, to the point and very neat. Im sure youll make it look good though.
