Hey all of you assholes! QUIT TALKING CRAP TO MY GIRLFRIEND!OK all of you that quoted me are dumb, and I mean that as politely as possible. REREAD my post. I didn't stipulate saving GAS money. I said save money by making my friggin lunch..that was part of my multi task while the car is warming up.
Gas money isn't s**t to me. I spend not even $50 a MONTH total in fuel. I'll continue to let it warm up; esp when it gets -0* here.
Yesss! Soon enough, I'll be flying IN the SKYDuuuh that's a given
i don't care what you do to your car im just stating the facts of cold starting newer cars to the op and who ever else thinks that there car is required to idle in the winter.who cares. It's a 1.6L for godsake. Not like we're letting a 5.7L V8 idle for a while.
x2Depends on how much snow or ice has accumulated on my car. I dig a way to the drivers door, hop in and start it, then clean the rest of the car off.
Thanks BaybayyyHey all of you assholes! QUIT TALKING CRAP TO MY GIRLFRIEND!
If you guys really are worried about saving money by driving instead of letting your car idle, you really need to think about getting more jobs or a better job. That is absolutely ridiculous. Cold engines run richer and use more fuel regardless of how you warm it up.
If you really want to save some money on gas, park the damn thing inside your house.
