That being said I think when it's all said and done, people in this thread will like 6th gens more than you.

its old technology, its not as safe, not as fuel efficient, its louder, lacking amenities, fewer airbags, and why would someone buy a new car that looks like a 10 year old car? besides its ugly compared to todays cars.

A literal reissue, no, but the OP had a point in suggesting Honda might want to consider rediscovering some of the positive aspects of the 4th-6th gen civics and modernizing them. And stop bogarting the hatchbacks from the US market. The market segment they hold has definitely heated up; they need to try to beat the Mazda3 and 2012 Ford Focus among others.

This. Too bad Honda (officially now) released sketches of the 9th gen, and the car is being debuted this January. I would like to see something similar in terms of LOOKS to the 6th gen, with new features of course.

Oh, and everyone who is... should stop being douches towards the OP.
