That looks like the snow plows here in NJ. Even when it does snow, they just sit there unused.

I think you guys aren't getting it. This is Alabama. Their annual snow fall is less than 3 inches.

Word . Try living up north. I hope one day I move outta here.

Although I will admit I love plowing snow (with a truck and plow because, yes, there are other ways to plow snow).

I'm from Syracuse NY and now I live in Birmingham. These streets suck. All ice. Atleast in NY they put down salt to melt it. Here they don't do s**t, just shut the city down.

Salt's good for clearing the roads, bad for cars. Rust galore. I try to go to the laser wash and do the underbody spray at least once every 2 weeks. I wish I had money to afford a beater and a summer car.

But when there's a freaking blizzard, salt does jack s**t. Especially ice storms. Power lines are down, trees are down, it's fun having to drive on the road like you're on an autocross track at 5mph to avoid crap.

Yeah, this is twice my car has been snowed in within two weeks. Luckily it was parked this time anyway. Due to transmission problems. Its getting swapped in two weeks, when I come home fron texas

I care about maintaining my vehicles. Whether it's a Civic or a Maserati, I still prefer to drive a different car in the winter.

Some people value their posessions differently than others.

It's my car, not yours.

I'm over in Rochester for school... TOO much freaking salt.

Us northerners, who get a s**t ton of salt on the roads every year... with cars that have seen it for 14 years now (like my car).... tends to get a little rusty. What's wrong with cleaning the salt off the car every few weeks or so?

And this is not a newsflash, this is common sense.. it's winter... who the hell would drive a Maserati in the dead of winter?

Oh, and my hometown in MA is supposed to get 12-16" tomorrowwww. I wish it was over here.. we're getting a lousy 3-6".

This was about half way into our last storm... I literally DID plow into my driveway

And the next morning:

At least you have a flat driveway. Our driveway is at a pretty steep angle and you gotta have speed going into it . Luckily, our neighbor plows and he does our driveway everytime he goes out.
