lawl. I make a living off from snow removal in the winter. 6-8 inches is nothing. We got 2 feet off from the storm that gave you guys such an "issue". I drive in this s**t every day. srsly. I woudlnt want to hear it when its -10 degrees out with a wind chill. It gets so cold cars come with block heaters and you have to plug cars in to start them in the morning. I plow a s**t ton driveways, and drive in the middle of white out/blizzard snow storms when you cant see past the hood of the truck. "get over it" like I said, its f**ken 6 inches of snow.. We get over 150 inches a year, and have to deal with liquid calcium that the state puts down on the roads. The lakes up here have over a foot of ice on them for christs sake.
I understand that the state systems arent prepared for adequate removal. I was actually going to travel down with my truck and 9.5' stainless steel fisher V-Plow and make a killing plowing driveways, and follow the storm back home. Last year I heard of a few local guys that went out and bought brand new Duramax Diesel 4x4's with Easy V's and took them down to Maryland and paid the trucks off just from that 1 storm. Next one, Count me in.
