What's up everyone? It's been awhile. I still need to take those pictures. I'm looking for a turbo kit, does anyone have any ideas?
How much boost are you planning on running?

I mean ebay kits aren't the greatest but if you are gonna run something low like 5-7 pounds then it would be okay. Just remember how much work there is when you put a turbo kit on ha. You have to get a chipped ecu, new injectors, make brackets for your fmic, its alot of work. Then you need a tune, it will add up quick.

the kits are around like 600 ish. Finding someone to socket and chip your ecu probably like another 50ish, well my friends at least do it that cheap. Injectors vary in price, you just need larger ones. A cheap tune at Synapse up here is about 5 or 6 hundred for a cheap one. It just adds up quick.. that's why I am waiting until I get my tax returns haha

To turbo running an ebay kit which i dont recommmend since their turbos i hear have many problems after a short amount of time. It will be like 1500ish if you get a decent tune. 600 to 700 for the kit. Ecu chipped probably 100. Tune 500ish. All the other little pieces you will need will be the rest. I would recommend an edelbrock turbo kit, i have heard nothing but good about them. They even come with a management system tuned for your motor and that kit

I was running a ebay turbo kit on my old hatch. I ran 10 pounds for over a year before it went bang lol

Its rare that i hear that. I hear many people say they have them go after a couple months. Ha and you can find it for cheaper than that. My friend had one on his y8 though and he loved it. Ran it for over 3 years at 10psi, but then he bumped the psi up and over revved and his bearing went. look at go-autoworks. they have some nice kits. Gotta pay for quality parts, unlike ebay

The thing is with the ebay kit. Most of the time you might have to custom fabricate some stupid things like a downpipe and what not. Like with mine it didn't line up correctly so I had to do a little cut and weld job to get in there lol
