The gas tank holds about 12 gallons. How many gallons were needed to fill the tank? But i thought, just assuming, if its in the red of the fuel indicator that it would mean it should be on?
Same here.....I I generally have about 2 gallons of gas in my tank when the gauge needle first enters the red zone.
This is bad..Don't do this.....is it bad for the engine if you run it till its out of gas?? cuz that would be a easy way to check to see if its working, just have a 5 gallon of gas in back and run it till its dry.
Right. Because it's a great way to destroy the fuel pump. This is bad..Don't do this.....
lame...sigh, i guess it doesn't really matter, its not like the fuel gauge is right there or anything lol.Right. Because it's a great way to destroy the fuel pump.
liters? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! that 18.2 gal!!! who measures in liters! USA all the WAY!!! Manifest destiny B@%$#!!! lol, just kidding, do your pumps actually measure in liters? thats crazy. My Civic Holds Up 69 Liters. No Joking. I Dont Know How Many Gallons Is That LOL. My Gas Light Isnt Broken and I Fuelled up 65.42Liters. Like, OH SH*T. It Will Turn on If its A Liter Near End.
hahahahahah!i swear i glanced at this thread and thought is say my flesh light isnt working.
maybe your not out of gas
thats easier? lol, i disagree...good thing they put it in a convenient place. oh well, im just going to stop caring about it haha.Hey, first post here at clubcivic. This forum has helped me a lot, great source of information.
I was reading through the manual and there is a way to jump the sensor wires to test the light. You have to remove the rear seat and open up the access cover to the top of the fuel tank. Then disconnect the 3P connector and jump wires 1 and 3 (BLK & GRN/YEL). If the low fuel light comes on the sending unit may be bad if you know you have less than one gal in the tank. If you have more fuel then you will know that the light isn't bad.
Thought this was easier way to check the bulb rather than taking the dash apart. I'll try and get the page posted from the manual unless RonJ beets me to it.
