very true and you can do it for very cheap. Get the ebay kit throw the filter away that came with it buy an aem dryflow done.with a sri, you don't have to worry about hydrolocking and its less hassle to change the filter
yes sirwith a sri, you don't have to worry about hydrolocking and its less hassle to change the filter
Trust me, save your money and get a K&N replacement, I've had 2 CAIs and 2 short rams and nothing compares to the drop in K&N. Less maintenance, less money, and better low end torque than either the cold air or short ram.
LOL sorry about that I was posting out of control.Blue888 is on like 3 or 4 threads still asking about intakes Stick to one man more folks will help you.
you like the sound it makes?I had a CAI, cheap one, and the filter started to rust, yes rust. When I lowered my car I took out the inner fenders so I wouldn't rub as much. The CAI was two pieces of tubing, so I just took off the lower one and replaced the filter with a K&N one. So now it's up in my engine bay, and I don't have to worry about water as much. I have not noticed a difference over stock except sound and it looks better, but that's it
The sound it makes is ok I guess, but I redid my whole exhaust before I put in the intake, so I don't get the full effect of it.you like the sound it makes?
