Okay well we are upgrading to a 24gb Ram server so its going to be a bit Its getting switched to paid but ill get you in for free. Just dont grief.

I havent played for a bit, but on the server im on i huge this huge tree fort that reaches up above the clouds and a mine thats is about 3times larger than my fort.

You can either get own one or get white listed and play on some one elses server. Some servers have survival mode enabled some dont. Alot of private servers have different texture packs and hacks and stuff.

My best understanding of minecraft is that it is a "game" in which you create structures, scenery, and machines using blocky objects. Kind of a creative outlet, but people make some really cool things using blocks and some simple mechanics.

there are spiders and zombies and skeletons and creepers. You build to protect yourself from them. You can playin peaceful mode too which doesnt have any of those and just allows you to build and mine and build and mine and create stuff. And yes you can create machines too. furances and rollercoasters. On the server i play on the quickest way to get around is the mine cart track which is conneceted to all thes bases. There are 4 of them on this server since there are only 4 us on it.

And all that stuff where you build to protect yourself, that's part of the game you have to pay for.

You have to buy the game no matter what. It's a one time fee for 14 dollars I believe.

man, i haven't minecrafted in a while... not since before beta started in december... i logged in yesterday and damn, the new updates are awesome... i hear we might get the piston mod soon too
