Pimpin, thats what i say. Good show old chap, more please; my wife wont let me work on my car till after we move so im going through wrench detox!
Thank you kind sir! I add it as it happens pretty much, all the real fun won't begin till later down the road though.
I completely understand, if "money" was my "wife" then I'd say she holds me back all the time

Good Luck on the move

Looking good. Can't wait to see this finished. You should do some videos of the finished product then.

Here's what came in the mail today from Diller (member of DSO). This thing is barely used and the filter is like new:

And he tossed in a Vstack for little to nothing, so I figured why not.

nice looking build! what camshaft are you going to use? whats your plans for the internals?

What type of filter? K&N is win.
It's the AEM filter for now but it's like new. The K&N will be on the list the very first tune-up after break in though ;)

Thankz sohclubkid!
Camshaft is top secret for now. Internals will be stock rods; shot peened and resized, ARP rod bolts, 75.5mm PG6 pistons (prolly have some "special" work done on the pistons), micro polished crank, everything balanced, ported OEM oil pump, whatever HG that will give me the clearance and cr I want(looking to hit 12.1cr) , and I have a few good options on bearings so we will have to see what happens.
It'll be a solid budget setup for a N/A D-series I think

x2 nice write up looks good
X2 Thankz

looks as if it is coming along nicely. when are we gonna see some assembly pics? cant wait.
Thankz Charlie Brown,
I can't wait either, but sadly it will still be a little bit. I can say this, tomorrow I'll either be buying this great deal I found on a Neptune RTP Demon package or I'll be tossing that cash towards the internals I need ;)

i hope you get a bisi cam! special work as in coating, or notched/ filled? ACL race bearings worked well in my setup so i can recommend them. if you're shooting for 12:1 CR you should use Neptune instead of CHROME for tuning, just my advice.

sounds like you have a good plan for your setup. if you want i have some CBR 929RR ITB's that would compliment your set-up nicely ;)

This inspires me as my hatch has a y7 swap, and I wanna take it one step further and minime it.
