Mr. Easter Bunny stopped by to check out how the progress was comming along on the build. He said I needed to get this bad boy done so we could take a ride out to the Bunny Ranch!
My First Rebuild Y7/Z6

I see that picture and I feel so bad for how in rough shape that car looks lol.
Then again, yesterday I was working with the Red Cross to set up a shelter in one of the towns here in Ar. that was overcome by a flooding river. We had one volunteer that was a local and had this pretty clean, teal, stock, coupe, (EG) Z6, w/ 120k. After everything calmed down a bit we went over and looked at it and he had a few minor mechanical issues like a broke A/C belt just hanging out in the bay, foating idle, that kinda stuff. He started talking about buying euro's, Z3 fenders, body kits, and so on....and would change the subject when I asked what his plans were for the motor, though he did mention putting a B18C5 in it one day.
Moral of the story is: Funtion>Form ! It made me feel alot better with the choices I've made so far

I know it's a sad update, but stuff happens then I went on a camping/rafting vacation so sue me.

Nah, I was gonna use the cherry picker to pick up the front of the car while I pull the motor out from underneath...
Lol J/K!....yeah I'm just gonna drop her in from the top man, it will be alot easier at the place I'm living at now.

Picked up a AEM CAI (tube only) for $30 shipped from a member of DSO.
I'll repaint it and will be able to swap between this and my short ram as needed.

A good tune is smart either way I would think, maybe even more so on forged pistons (because going forged would mean you plan on pushing more powa)
But your right, my CR will be up there pretty decent
