it all depends on what you are after..

if you are after solely looks... then big rims.. or silly low drops.. will be a non issue..

if performance is the goal then the most ideal setup is a MILD drop with a small light wheel..

there really is no right or wrong.. but putting big heavy rims on your car.. OR slamming it to the ground.. will both hurt performance..

Just depends on what you personally like my buddys teg is on 17's and looks good, but its one of the few ive seen. And your friend is crazy man 2 inch isnt much. i got friends right now on coilovers maxed out and can drive around everywhere. Just ask 1sikcivic his s**t is real low

I have 17's on my ej2 and I don't have rubbing problems, it is not lowered yet, I like the way they look but if I have a chance to change the rims it will be for 15's or 16's since I feel a torque loss
