B series EM1 (Si) head (brand new from honda) at the discounted price is around $2000 and a lil bit more over 2 grand for the block. s*** is bass-ackwards. Yeah i'll be doing the swap myself. Thats the main reason i want everything as new and user friendly as possible.
haha, word. i honestly did not know that and don't blame you for tying to make your life easier.

haha i probably will. I do have plans for the fuse box, battery, and fueling to be tucked. The brake lines and prop valve are the only things im unsure about. I'll be keeping heat as well so that'll add the two heater hose lines but thats about it.

K swap for sure. After seeing all the big time track and hard parkers dropping their B's to go K, i figured there must be a reason. I dont see any k swap people complaining.

oh and concerning price.....check this out.
2012 brand new from Honda cylinder head and block from the new K24 Si. Not as expensive as it seems.

*scoots chair closer* im listening
You are doing everything to your hatch that I wish I would've done to my 99 when I got it in 2008. Taking it slow, clean it up, fixing little tid bits, and getting GOOD quality parts; even if that means driving it stock for a while. Nothing wrong with a stock car ;)

Anyways, Im excited to be see what you have planned for this car and Im def subscribed. Ill be living vicariously through you wishing I did that to mine!! s**t, I had a shitty intake and side markers for my car before I even picked it up. On top of that I half assed the install, and the side markers were on wrong.:roll:

Love the wheels, love the wheel, love the seat, and love the ride height.

Aight ill get off your cock now. Go on!

damn i just read this thread!

and dont you have function and form?

http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=206087
Yeah I have function and form. This is the second car I've used them on. Never a problem for me our friends of mine. I also don't use them incorrectly.
Take opinions with a grain of salt, to include mine. Also consider that someone can't give an in depth opinion on something they have never used.

There are some good points in that thread though as well

put the diff intake manifold on the d i did mine for $60 thats cuz i stripped the mani down and borrowed the fuel rail and rotor wheel and the fpr, and a few other peices from the junk yard. The mani was only 37 i bought the nice gasket to.
Haha borrowed like huck finn if you know what i mean.

I do want to play around with the D and build it up a lil bit, but not with more oem bolt ons. The things i want to do would really take away from my swap funds so I wont be touching the D.
you say just $60 bucks, but to me, that's a fuel pressure gauge and inline fuel filter for a K swap.
