its a 1967 bmw 4 speed with sunroof

its all original motor matches the vin reads 54k miles.

the carb needs to be rebuilt and dialed in but other than that it was running fine. comes with tons of parts and a 2nd set of wheels.

all this can be mine for 1500 bucks. whats everyone think. ive never had a car that wasnt a honda

I think it would be a really fun restoration project :what:

Have fun finding parts though... Bimmers aren't cheap.

I think it's pretty sweet. Do you really like it though? Cause if it's not what you really want, you should probably just keep your money

Buy this, sell the Honda.

Actually finding parts for these old BMW's can be fairly easy, there is tons of support out there for them.
If you do take this on, along with Bavarian Autosport, there are many other companies that offer BMW parts or reproductions and lots of restoration project logs.

ya im not so worried about the parts i can find everything from all new interior to exterior. i reallly love this body style. lowering springs and struts are only gping to run me about 450. im so tempted itd more or less just having the room

Really? A 67? If that's the case, that's bad ass. Just rebuild the motor if needed, body work and paint and SLAM it. It'd look sooooo good.

Take what you said there and think about it.
Paid 2900, asking 2750 from anyone else and is offering it to you for half what he paid.
Though I wouldn't be asking a Honda forum about vintage BMW prices.

If you don't feel you'll have the time, funds or ability to do it right, pass on it.

That picture makes me reconsider my statement. 1500 isnt bad. I'm sure people would pay more than that for it.

You seem confident, and I think it could look pretty clean with what you're planning, so go for it man

As long as you have the time and the money to finish the project i would go for it personally.

I don't see that happening for under 3k, not with a decent paint job. It's a cool project but I think it's going to cost more than you expect.
